The MARVELous Daddy

There’s nothing better than when the Daddy and the Dealer share a moment…

The Dealer woke up the other day and decided to dig deep into my memory banks for some artistic inspiration then BAM! I hit a nostalgic pipe line that led to an urge to listen to the grooviest and jazziest theme songs ever given to a comic book superhero…”Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can, ‘s which then led me to discover a reservoir of inspiration, a collection of  episodes of the late 60′s Marvel  TV cartoon series, known as THE MARVEL SUPER HEROES(thank you Canadians for bring this to life).  I mean, come on it was Spiderman, The Incredible Hulk, The Invincible Ironman, Prince Namor the Submariner, Capt. America, and The Mighty Thor.  Can’t say i remembered any specific eps, but those intros. own real estate on my mind. People don’t even remember that most of these theme songs were also available on vinyl(which is as long lost as the concept of morning cartoons to fuel the imagination), speaking of which,  some still to inspire musicians of today, don’t believe me, check GhostFace’s Supreme Clientel album. Come one sing it with me….

Tony Stark makes you feel

OK, so as I’m flipping out at my new find at 6am in the morning, my daughter makes her way to my works her way to the couch, kisses me, ask for her milk and then starts to make a connection with her DADDY by asking 1 simple question…”WHATS THAT?” as she inquisitively points at the MacBook screen.  and then it happened…we connected, and I brought her into my world… where she is learning that NOTHIN’ IS IMPOSSIBLE!
